Integrated Sampling Arrangements Engineered for a Specific Duty

A Go-Belt® Sampling System combines a Go-Belt® Sampler with the application-specific equipment required to perform a defined sampling duty. T.K.O Engineering engineers and integrates the sampler, sample-transfer equipment, collection arrangements, controls and, where required, downstream sample-preparation equipment as an integrated system.

Typical System Building Blocks

Depending on the sampling application and required scope, a Go-Belt® Sampling System may incorporate some or all of the following.

Go-Belt® Sampler

The primary sampling machine configured for the material stream and sampling application.

Chutes & Sample Transfer

Engineered chute work and transfer arrangements used to direct sampled material between the required stages of the system.

Sample Handling & Collection

Equipment and arrangements used to receive, direct and collect sampled material while supporting sample integrity and controlled handling.

Controls & PLC Integration

Electrical controls and PLC integration used to coordinate the required sampling sequence and associated equipment.

Crushing — where required

Sample crushing equipment can be incorporated where size reduction forms part of the required sampling and preparation duty.

Sample Division / Splitting — where required

Appropriate sample-division equipment can be incorporated where reduction of sample mass is required for downstream handling or preparation.

From Sampling Point to Collected Sample

The scope of a Go-Belt® Sampling System is determined by what is required between the primary sampling point and the required sample destination. This allows T.K.O Engineering to engineer the surrounding sample-handling arrangement together with the Go-Belt® Sampler rather than treating each item of equipment in isolation.

1. PRIMARY SAMPLING

The Go-Belt® Sampler obtains a sample increment from the material stream.

2. SAMPLE TRANSFER

Sampled material is transferred to the next required stage.

3. SAMPLE PREPARATION

Where required, crushing and/or sample division is incorporated into the system.

4. SAMPLE COLLECTION

The resulting sample is directed to the required collection arrangement for downstream handling or analysis.
